Droid Pro Now Available to Verizon Customers
The Droid Pro, the first Android smartphone made for business use, by Motorola, Inc. (NYSE:MOT) will be available for Verizon (NYSE:VZ) Wireless customers starting on Nov. 9 online and in stores on Nov. 18.
The Droid Pro features a QWERTY keyboard, pre-loaded Quickoffice Mobile Suite and wireless voice service in more than 220 countries and data coverage in about 200 countries.
The phone will be priced at $179.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate and a new two-year customer agreement. The $100 rebate will be sent to customers who purchase the Droid Pro in the form of a debit card.
Motorola closed flat at $8.20 and Verizon closed flat at $33.43 on Friday.
