Twitter or to be more precise the DNS records of twitter were 'hacked' for a 1 full hour by someone who called himself The Iranian Cyberarmy , , twitter was hacked together with another website belonging to the Iranian opposition also called the reformists , but also knowing the role that have been played by twitter during the last Iranian mass protests after the elections can lead to believe that the hackers are in fact working for the 'interests' of the Iranian regime ...here is below the message that was left by the hackers instead of the www.twitter.com webpage :

Father of the Internet wants to redesign the TCP/IP protocol

Vinton G. Cerf is vice president and chief Internet evangelist for Google. In this role, he is responsible for identifying new enabling technologies to support the development of advanced Internet-based products and services from Google. He is also an active public face for Google in the Internet world.
Vint Cerf serves as chairman of the board of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). He served as founding president of the Internet Society from 1992-1995 and in 1999 served a term as chairman of the Board.
